THE ROLE:

Multiple positions available specialising in Receivables or Payables – Junior candidates and fresh graduates are encouraged to apply!

As the Finance Processing Services Assistant for Account Receivables:

You will be responsible ensuring that receipting, allocations, specific debt management activities, and other finance services are being processed accurately and in a timely manner.

You will be responsible to ensure that minimum outstanding debts levels are maintained and the unallocated cash is minimised and followed up actively. In addition, you will be responsible for sending email chasers for overdue broker debt and taking relevant action for responses received.

As the Finance Processing Services Assistant for Account Payables:

You will be responsible ensuring that the employee expenses validations, invoice processing and payment processing are being processed accurately and in a timely manner. In addition, you will be responsible to monitor the ageing of uncoded and unapproved invoices.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES / QUALITIES / SKILLS:

  • Handling the Finance related processing in accordance with Liberty policy and procedural guidelines
  • Maintain team relationships through constant collaborations and engagements
  • Interacting with internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner
  • Team contribution - Abide by all training guides and contribute to an effective and strong team-work culture designed to help each other grow and develop
  • Compliance - with all legal, statutory and corporate affairs requirements.
  • Motivated, personable & high attention to detail
  • Minimum work experience / recent graduates encouraged to apply
  • Relevant qualifications (tertiary, certificate, diploma) in Finance, Accounting or Banking ideal
  • Sound English communication skills (written and spoken) required as you will be liaising with English speaking stakeholders
  • Ability to read, write and communicate fluently in Cantonese and Mandarin highly desirable as you may be in contact with our HK and China staff
  • Capability to use accounting IT systems (Excel, SAP and Concur) ideal

THE ROLE:

As an experienced Processing Services Team Supervisor, you will proactively lead, supervise & coach our PSAs to achieve internal KPIs & stakeholder satisfaction.   • Leadership - Supervise & monitor team’s work commitments ensuring daily workflows are managed effectively & KPI/SLA maintained. This includes training, coaching, mentoring & developing your team of direct reports as well as all manager responsibilities – recruitment and selection, performance management, training and knowledge management, resource management, reporting & quality checks.
  • Underwriting & Claims – Oversee & manage all aspects of processing submissions, policy processing & wordings, claims payments, CAT modelling, loss runs, eFile upload and various other administrative duties. The role will also be assisting team leaders in being an intermediary between other key business units –Operations, IT, Finance, RI, & Legal as required.
  • Continuous improvement – Identifying & implementing ways of achieving greater operational efficiency. This will also include driving change management practices within operations.
  • Team relationships – Establish & maintain a highly effective and responsive working relationship with direct reports, internal stakeholders & prioritise work commitments to ensure daily workflows are maintained & KPI/SLA’s are delivered.

RESPONSIBILITIES / QUALITIES / SKILLS:

 

  • Qualifications (tertiary, certificate, diploma) in Finance, Accounting, Business, Insurance or other related discipline is highly desirable.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a supervisor role within General Insurance/and or Insurance broking industry.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in handling end-to-end processing of transactional tasks preferably gained in  the insurance industry.
  • Previous claims management and/or broader insurance experience ideal.
  • Sound English communications skills (written & spoken) with excellent attention to detail & accuracy skills.
  • Microsoft Excel & SAP experience ideal, along with other relevant IT systems.
  • Engaged & committed to continual process improvements.
  • A team player with strong stakeholder engagement skills & willingness to be flexible with work arrangements according to business needs.
